Located in North Fitzroy, Mary Miller is constantly bustling with foodies and coffee lovers. This beautifully designed cafe specialises in inspired brunch dishes and classic favourites.
The delicious vegan friendly menu includes Chicken pop burger – a flavour laden option featuring vegan popcorn chicken, green salad, tomato with smoked paprika aioli sandwiched between a fluffy matcha milk bun and is served with sweet potato fries.
Also delightful is the Poke bowl – a colourful mix of spicy tuna, brown rice, avocado, quinoa pickled beetroot, tofu, seaweed, garlic kale served with sesame dressing and topped with an optional poached egg - this dish is loaded with nutrition and tastes amazing.
If you have a sweet tooth then do not go past the Fig and berry pancakes. Think fluffy pancakes adorned with fig and mixed berry coulis, layers of vanilla mascarpone, pandan crumb, coconut flakes and finished with French vanilla ice cream. Just yum!
On the drinks front the coffee is great (as expected of any good Melbourne café) but there are also plenty of other enticing drink options. The blue latte is our top pick from the non-coffee alternatives. Made from Blue Butterfly Pea Powder, this drink is loaded with antioxidants and all sorts of goodness.
This little gem is a great haunt for locals to enjoy a hearty breakfast a good brew.
