Entrecôte City

Famous for their steak frites, Entrecote embodies a chic Parisian steakhouse. Thanks to Citibank, we recently visited Entrecote and loved tasting our way through the menu which features classic regional French dishes.

As part of the Citibank dining program the meal came with a complimentary bottle, (a choice of red and white) which in our case was the Tightrope Walker Pinot Noir.

To start the escargot is a winner, boasting wonderful flavour courtesy of being baked in garlic and herb butter.

The piece de resistance, the Steak Frites, met our expectations admiringly. Our steaks were each cooked the way we liked, wonderfully seared and pink in the middle. The accompanying herb butter which melts to coat the steak is simply divine. 

For desserts, the Le Grand Macaron is wonderful. Large macaron shells encase strawberries, crème Chantilly and rose jelly and is served alongside a quenelle of strawberry sorbet. It is a refreshing dessert, executed well.
