Fargo & Co is Melbourne’s favourite 1900’s heritage bank turned bar and known for its killer cocktails. Lesser known is the fact that these guys serve up some tasty food that is absolutely perfect for sharing and enjoying over your favourite tipple.
Our top picks from the menu include the crispy haloumi drizzled in four pillars Shiraz gin, topped with blackberries, cherries and native pepper berries. For something more substantial, we highly recommend the Fried Chicken (you can opt for half or whole) served with honey butter, a secret sauce and pickles. These guys really know how to cook a bird. So yes, their Grilled Chicken is just as good - brined and flame grilled, with lemon myrtle, herb & native pepper. Just yum!
