Piccolina Gelateria opens in St Kilda

Bayside gelato lovers have been rejoicing over Piccolina Gelateria’s newest store. Located in Acland Street St Kilda, the heart of Melbourne’s summer playground, the new store responds to the street scape and the beachside vibe of Acland street with the facade opening up completely to the street

where customers can stand at the bar and bask in the sun while enjoying a sweet treat.

The store echoes 1950s Southern Italy – from the colourways through to the theatre of gelato and the fun packaging where a beautiful servery bench clad in square-cut Italian tiles where deep “pozzetti” hold 20 of their famous gelato flavours and 4 granita flavours.

The gelato we sampled was truly stunning. A testament to the fact that Piccolina gelato is made fresh daily instore from 100% natural ingredients like fresh fruit and freshly roasted nuts.
