Summer Sleepover at Hilton Hotels Melbourne

Hilton Melbourne has partnered with Sage x Clare to Create a Colourful and Eclectic Summer Accommodation Offering!

Until 15 January 2017, visitors to Melbourne can enjoy a sleepover experience like no other with the introduction of Summer Sleepover-themed guest rooms across both Hilton Melbourne South Wharf and DoubleTree by Hilton Melbourne – Flinders Street.

Gastrology recently experienced the Summer Sleepover at DoubleTree by Hilton Melbourne, located on Flinders Street.

We loved welcoming the new year in the Summer Sleepover-themed guest room with the bright colours, vibrant material and statement pieces adorning the bed, walls and floor. We also enjoyed a specially designed tray of summer treats to keep us refreshed - all part of the Summer Sleepover offering.

For all those who want an urban escape this summer, this is a unique experience that captures everything Australian's love about summer, in the heart of downtown Melbourne.

Hilton Melbourne South Wharf and DoubleTree by Hilton Melbourne – Flinders Street each have their own Summer Sleepover room available for the general public to book between 17 December 2016 and 15 January 2017. Guests will also enjoy a 15 percent discount on Sage x Clare products when shopping online at sageandclare.com.

Dinner at Platform 270

Our stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Melbourne Flinders Street would not be complete without a delicious dinner at Platform 270 bar and kitchen.

We loved being nourished by a delicious dinner by Executive Chef Phil Latta. The restaurant menu heroes the freshest seasonal produce cooked to perfection.

The dish of the night was the pan roasted barramundi which featured delicious Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours. Seared beautifully on the outside and wonderfully moist on the inside, the barramundi was stunning. The fluffy cous cous with sultanas and creamy yoghurt were the perfect accompaniment.
