Tokosan

Tokosan opened up on Greville Street, Prahran late last year as the 'cheeky sister' to Toko (complete with a karaoke room!) and offers a fast-casual dining experience set against a cool Japanese style backdrop. 

The street-style Japanese menu is designed for sharing, with mouth-watering dishes including seared tuna sashimi, gyoza dumplings, sweet eggplant miso and (our absolute favourite) flounder karaage which features crispy cube sized morsels of flounder pieces served with snow peas and the most additive chilli ponzu dipping sauce. 

On the dessert front the dorayaki is a must-have. Think fluffy pancakes filled with sweet and creamy red bean served with luxurious matcha ice cream. Just. Yum.

The menu also caters for vegan and vegetarian with plenty of options available. The complementary cocktail list was inspired by the iconic Kill Bill characters such as Boss Tanaka and Pretty Riki and are absolutely scrumptious.
