Two Pounds

We recently celebrated Father’s Day with a delicious 3 course meal from Two Pounds in Armadale.
The delicious Traditional Hamper arrived looking absolutely beautiful with a bottle of wine from Trofeo Estate. To start we loved the pillow soft gnocchi tossed with delicious morsels of slow cooked beef ragu, red wine and button mushrooms which was perfect to enjoy with the accompanying French rustic bread from NEDS BAKE.
For mains, a generous plate of 8 hour slow cooked lamb shoulder served with chimmi churri sauce was a true crowd pleaser. The lamb was incredibly tender and easily fell apart with the weight of our forks. The side of green beans and broccolini with toasted almonds, feta & parsley was fresh and simply beautiful while the garlic and rosemary, golden roasted potatoes were wonderfully hearty.
Dessert time continued to please with a special dessert box of house made Two Pounds mixed goodies of caramel slice, traditional chocolate fudge brownie. white chocolate, coconut and raspberry rocky road as well as milk chocolate, marshmallow and shortbread rocky road.
