A favourite in Carnegie's thriving food scene, @ The Catch Carnegie is a fish and chips eatery that’s all about premium seafood backed by passionate people that have been serving the public for generations.
While guests can feast on traditional fish and chips, it’s the high quality and diverse range of unexpected seafood delights that sets it apart. Think fish tacos and an exciting selection of market fresh fish delivered fresh daily.
To start we loved the plate of salt and pepper battered fish. A beautiful selection of cubed fresh fish were each beautifully coated in a light and flavoursome tempura batter. Just yum!
If you're craving traditional good ol' fish and chips then The Catch's Packs are the way to go. We loved eating our way through the family pack which included two beautifully grilled and battered fish, calamari rings, king prawns, plump scallops, potato cakes and chips.
The barramundi that we had was a real stand out. Exceedingly fresh and grilled to perfection, the natural sweetness of the barramundi shone through. Impressively, every single morsel of seafood we had was similarly fresh and boasted the perfect batter that was perfectly fried so it was crispy and not greasy.
What The Catch does, it does extremely well. The seasonal menu inspired by international flavours and delicious ingredients is a simply a compelling option to loyal punters and fresh foodies.
