Three One 2 One is a café that pleases patrons with life’s simple pleasures done well.
Dips and stuff, Pistachio dukkah, pickles, olives, Danish feta and grilled bread
Owner/ business entrepreneur/ IT guru, Krishna has created a café with a relaxed, unpretentious and uncomplicated approach. The food features a variety of brunch options that will suit everyone.
As expected from any good Melbourne café, the coffee is excellent. Our latte contained a perfect layer of silken froth, complete with a flawless rosetta, and tasted terrific.
Energizing green smoothie - Avocado, spinach, cucumber, YOR super greens, freshly squeezed lemon juice, coconut water
There are also an array of exciting drink options ranging from healthy to heart attack…
Doh!! HEART ATTACK Spiked Shake - Coffee, caramel dressing, choc chip, baileys and homemade donut
Bircher Muesli with berries, almond and walnut crunch, vanilla and honey labne
The Bircher Muesli was a fresh, moist and delicious option. The almond and walnut crunch was a beautiful addition which added both texture and flavour.
Quinoa salad with beetroot, feta, roast pumpkin, spinach and chicken skewers
The quinoa salad was a seemingly simple dish which boasted balanced layers of flavour. The chicken skewers were wonderfully chargrilled and went well with the quinoa, beetroot, feta, roast pumpkin and spinach. The refreshingly tart vinaigrette dressing provided a lovely acidity which brought the dish together.
The Double Tep
We also indulged in The Double Tep, a burger from the Flip City popup secret burger menu designed by Chef Terri from Dandenong Pavillion. It was an almighty burger with two premium Aussie beef patties, melted double cheddar cheese, pickles, shallots, tomato sauce and American mustard all squeezed into a fresh, slightly toasted brioche bun. It was the small details that set it apart - from the perfectly toasted bun to the use of shallots instead of onions (which delivered a sweetness that complemented the pickles exceptionally well).
Serving good food at affordable prices, the Three One 2 One has unsurprisingly become a favourite choice for locals. A lovely and versatile meeting place, the cafe caters for lunching families to passer-by’s looking for a quick bite.
