Located on Level 4 of the Village Hotel Katong, Katong Kitchen offers a wide range of traditional Katong favourites and delicacies. Led by executive chef William Lum, the restaurant draws inspiration from the history and heritage of the surrounding Joo Chiat and Katong districts.
Although Katong Kitchen offers an a la carte menu and buffet. we couldn't resist indulging in the buffet. The buffet was wonderful and offered an excellent array of Nyonya, Macanese, Asian and local Chinese influenced dishes. There is also a range of international options to ensure all tastes are catered for. We particularly loved the Katong laksa (which was cooked to order), satay, goat rendang and ayam buah keluak.
All of the dishes were wonderfully executed and bursting with authenticity and flavour. Combined with the warm and attentive service, Katong Kitchen is a winner for those wanting to sample a huge range of delicacies in a one-stop food paradise.
