To celebrate QT Melbourne’s collaboration with Koko Black at The Cake Shop, Gastrology visited The Cake Shop to devour the delicious offerings.

Located on ground level of QT Melbourne, The Cake Shop promises to be the perfect pit stop for a sugar hit whilst wandering the city’s laneways.

Highlights from the delectable menu include Koko Black chocolate & hazelnut gateau, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate fudge brownie made with 73% dark chocolate, a soft and chewy choc chip & caramel cookie and the hazelnut hot chocolate, brewed for two hours and blended with cream and premium Belgian.

There are also an array of savoury treats. Our top pick is the buttery ham and cheese croissants and the luscious sausage rolls. It’s all about the simple pleasures of life done well.
