Trend #1 - Better Bagnums

Bagnums is one of the latest innovative formats to enter the wine market. (Think ‘wine bag’ meets ‘magnum’!) This new unique design offers wine-lovers convenience, affordability and sustainable packaging all rolled into one as consumers become more environmentally conscious. A current front runner this summer in the trend is Cupio Bagnums available in Pinot Noir and Dry Pinot Rosé.

With its unique, sustainable packaging and serious pink vibes, Cupio Bagnums have been purposely designed with several benefits in mind, including lower carbon footprint and being fresh for up to 30 days after opening.

TREND #2 - Lighter and Brighter Wines

Lighter style wines are a perfect match with the Australian lifestyle and our love of barbecues, alfresco dining and outdoor entertaining.

Introducing Blockhead Shiraz Nouveau – a contemporary approach to Shiraz crafted by the Masters of Barossa Shiraz – St Hallett.

The new Shiraz Nouveau is a lighter style Shiraz that boasts a feminine twist of a lighter style, and designed to appeal to wine-lovers seeking a premium red drop to savour over the warmer months.

Interestingly Shiraz Nouveau is best served chilled from the fridge, or you can simply add an ice cube to your wine glass and enjoy.

Trend #3 - Convenience in Ready-To-Drink Cans

The ready-to- drink category has surged in popularity both globally and in Australia over the last few years.

Iconic Australian sparkling wine brand Yarra Burn has released its latest innovation to market with a collection of premium spritzes in a ready-to-drink can. Ideal for those looking to moderate alcohol consumption, Yarra Burn Spritzes are lower in alcohol than traditional wines (at 9% ABV) and the cans are 100% recyclable – offering drinking pleasure with less environmental impact. The slim and stylish Yarra Burn Spritzes are available in four styles: Prosecco Spritz, Rosé Spritz, Prosecco Spritz with Orange Bitters, and Cuvée Spritz.
