In a modern and contemporary venue, CH James is serving up modern brunch and lunch dishes all day, and wonderful Small Batch coffee. The cafe has just launched new winter dishes such as breakfast poke, crumbed ham hock with pea pannacotta, Okonomiyaki burger , buckwheat noodles with pork belly , and corn & haloumi fritters.
We had the privilige of tasting the corn & haloumi fritters which were crunchy on the outside and served with a creamy herb hummus. The other dish we tasted was the hearty buckwheat noodles with pork belly. The dish was filled with four juicy portions of pork belly and a light broth served on the side. The egg was perfectly poached and oozing of yolk once cut through.
CH James is a lovely modern Australian cafe with an extensive menu of brunch classics and new dishes which are worth a visit.
