Cookes Food turns 10

To celebrate Cookes Food turning 10, owner and founder Sophie Storen (nee Cookes) has created 10 experiences based around 10 ingredients that have influenced her menus over the past 10 years. 

They say the proof is in the pudding. This saying certainly rings true for Cookes Food. It’s 10 years of success is no surprise when you taste the food. We thoroughly enjoyed being a part of one of the intimate dinners which saw guests enjoy a stunning fish themed menu. Every dish was cooked to perfection and prepared with the utmost care and love. Highlights included an entree of thinly sliced barramundi fritti with fried lemon and parsley, a hearty main dish of Sliced Hopkins River Beef with anchovy Bagna Cauda and a wonderfully luxurious dessert of ricotta thimbles served with roasted quince, honey and hazelnuts.
