A stunning addition to Greensborough's growing culinary scene, Infuse’s unmistakable charm is alluring with its adventurous menu that explores the punchy flavours and exotic spices of Asian inspired Modern Australian fare.
The dish of chilli tofu was a stunning start to our visit. A melange of sweetness, savouriness, chilli kick and a touch of acidity, this was a beautiful dish comprising of deep fried vermicelli soaking in flavour some sauce together with melt in your mouth tofu laced with chicken mince, dried shallots, sesame and chilli.
The lemongrass chicken skewers were similarly delicious. Beautifully tender and served with a rich satay sauce.
For mains the half chargrilled chicken was a showstopper. The chicken had been lovingly marinated in lemongrass, lime and chilli before being cooked to absolute perfection. We loved the tender and moist chicken which went well with the accompanying Issan stick rice, charred corn and house pickled vegetable.
If you love curries then do not go past the slow cooked lamb shank massaman. The lamb was falling off the bone and was beautifully tender and succulent. Harmonising a perfect balance of spices and sweetness, the accompanying curry was one of the best examples of a massaman curry we have had. Together with steamed rice, the robust and fragrant dish was an addictive and comforting dish.
Dessert time continued to please at Infuse and showcased the kitchen’s versatility. The cookie and cream popsicle ensured our visit concluded on a sweet note. Think dark chocolate glaze, salted peanut and cashew nut, crème fraiche and fresh blueberries. Highly recommended!
