MJ Burger Bar's first birthday

Mocha Jo's Burger Bar in Glen Waverley has recently celebrated its first birthday! 

Inspired by the American burger scene and located behind the iconic Mocha Jo's restaurant, the Burger Bar provides locals with an excellent choice of American style burgers, hotdogs, shakes, sodas and sweet treats. 

On a balmy Melbourne night, we enjoyed the Mac 'n' Cheese Burger which was packed full of ingredients such as panko crumbed macaroni and cheese patty, wagyu, double cheese , lettuce, mustard, pickles, tomato, jalapeno and brown onion.

The burger was not only impressive in structure, but also equally impressive in taste. The Mac 'n' cheese patty had that bit of crunch from the panko crumbs while being cheesy on the inside which is why it is one of the most popular burgers on the menu!

For side dishes, our favorite of the night was the hand cut sweet potato fries which were herbaceous and well seasoned. Served with the creamy MJ sauce, the fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside which made the dish a delight to devour. In addition, the popcorn chicken were moist morsels of chicken which were also well seasoned with a dash of sriracha mayo on top of the chicken which provided a tantalizing tang. 

This Mocha Jo's burger bar is a great little burger joint serving juicy burgers and delicious sides so it is definitely worth checking out. 

They also have special burgers and are currently ranging Clinton and Trump inspired burgers for those wanting to try something different!
