Pentolina has arrived on Little Collins with honest and simple Italian. The menu champions honest, simple flavours; something that owners Matt and Julia are extremely passionate about and proud of.
We loved tasting our way through the restaurant's most popular dishes. Our top picks include the luxurious truffle spaghetti which boasts al dente ribbons of freshly made pasta adorned in a creamy sauce and topped with WA truffles - Simply stunning. For something lighter with a bit of "kick" to it, we recommend the rigatoni amatriciana. This is a bold rendition tossed with pancetta, plenty of chilli, garlic and olives with a delightfully fresh napoli sauce as the base.
Apart from doing pastas well, Pentolina also offer a beautiful selection of entrees. Think prosciutto melone, grilled calamari, insalata caprese and thick cut chips.
Whatever you do, make sure you do not leave without trying their desserts. The tiramisù is a stunner - a cheeky take on the classic, a heady mix of espresso and Kahlua is served on the side which you pour into the layered cup of mascarpone and Savoiardi biscuits. Just yum!
