Originally from South Africa, RocoMamas has opened their flagship Australian venue in Windsor.
Focusing on juicy burgers and delicious ribs, RocoMamas uses fresh ingredients to create drool worthy edgy dishes. We devoured a variety of dishes from the menu and everything was tasty!
To start off the evening, we were treated to some custard shakes (flavours include choc decadence, butter salted caramel, peanut butter, and nutella) - creamy. yet light and delicious.
Dreamy appetisers graced us next. Think mac & cheese pucks, loaded fries with bacon and cheese sauce, buffalo wings and jalapeno cheese bombs. The mac and cheese pucks were a winner - crumbed and cooked to perfection with a filling full of the classic flavour.
Our favourite menu item, the juicy ribs were served next. These flame grilled ribs were incredibly tasty and the meat was so tender it was falling off the bone.
RocoMamas has an impressive variety of burgers on the menu and we were pleased to be able to taste a number of these. Our favourite burger was "The Slacker" which decadently consists of the Roco Mayo, 3 x 100g beef smash patties, 3 x slices of aged cheddar and sweet pickled. When this dish arrived to the table, our jaws dropped in awe of the mammoth size of the burger. This burger was the top pick of the evening with its juicy meat patties providing the most luscious flavour burst.
RocoMamas' burger game is next level thanks to its unique style of preparing patties. Each patty is rolled it into a ball and then pushed flat on the grill, creating a big surface area so you get all those charred yummy bits whilst maintaiing the juices within the burger. At RocoMamas, you can also choose what you have in your burger by ticking items off an order sheet so that the burger is custom made, just the way you like it!
Being globally recognised for its signature homemade ribs and smash burgers, RocoMamas serves up the goods with friendly service and relaxed atmosphere amongst the buzz of Chapel street.
RocoMamas is now open and located at 156 Chapel St, Windsor.
