For mains, we ordered from the grill section, with the steak cooked to our liking, along with the Oven Baked Barramundi served with roasted tomato and onion, garlic panko, heirloom carrots, kipfler potato and lemon cream sauce.
The drinks menu also leans into the region, with a good mix of local and Australian wines available. We enjoyed trying a bottle of The Carriages Cabernet Merlot from Echuca, which was a nice way to sample a local drop while dining in the area.
Families will especially appreciate the addition of Frinkle, located within the bistro precinct. The self-serve dessert bar has become a popular stop for both kids and adults, allowing guests to create their own frozen yoghurt or ice cream creations with a huge range of toppings. From rainbow sprinkles and marshmallows to chocolate bars and syrup drizzles, it’s a fun and interactive dessert option that adds to the venue’s broad appeal. The weigh-and-pay concept also means you can keep things simple or go all out depending on your mood.
