Elevate your spirits and indulge your senses at The Westin Melbourne’s High SocieTea. More than an afternoon high tea experience, akin to an upscale social club where guests gather to enjoy a selection of delicacies in the grand and glamorous Lobby Lounge. 

Oscietra Caviar, mauri mascarpone and Brillat Savarin cheese scone topped with a 12-carot gold leaf anyone? Say hello to pure indulgence with The Westin Melbourne’s new High SocieTea menu available from the 12th of August for a limited time only. 

Served in the sophisticated surrounds of the Lobby Lounge, this afternoon tea is for those who seek and appreciate the finer things in life. 

A three-tier offering centred around caviar, cheese and chocolate, settle in for an afternoon of indulgence as you are taken on a gastronomic journey filled with theatrics, frivolity and flavour. 

Starting with a cloud of smoke to add a burst of umami flavour, a delicate glass box reveals in house-cured king salmon steeped in juniper and champagne, served with wild scampi caviar in a handmade charcoal tart.

Next, you’ll be greeted decadent slow baked Le Conquerant camembert, finished with a sprinkling of lemon thyme and truffles, followed by a Nduja salami and Mauri taleggio cream filled Berliner with bacon dust, and Murray region 12-hour braised pulled lamb shoulder served over soft milk buns and topped with chevre cheese. 

Your final tasting tier is a chocolate lover’s delight, featuring a black forest cookie gateau with a delicious soft-centred filling, a warm chocolate tart with burnt marshmallow and whisky anglaise, and Valrhona Amantika bark with raspberry and Olsson's red gum salt. 

Eschew your tea and elevate your experience with premium paired wines from Yarra Valley vintner Rob Dolan, request a glass of chilled champagne or your favourite cocktail to complement this carefully crafted and impeccably presented curation of the finest amuse-bouches and tasting dishes. 

Available 12 August 2022 - 16 October 2022, High SocieTea will be served daily in the Lobby Lounge from 4PM to 8PM. The experience costs $110 per person including a glass of Rob Dolan Black Series wine.
