Vinomofo

Brought to you by Vinomofo and Nuffnang.

Gastrology recently had the opportunity to try a selection of delicious Vinomofo wines!

Vinomofo work directly with the best producers in the world to find the wines they love, and curate them to the customers taste. These are the wines they love to drink. If they don’t love it, they don’t sell it.

Once a wine passes the rigorous tasting panel of the Vinomofo buying team, they buy a certain amount of stock and it is often the case that they sell out and can’t get their hands on any more! Most wines are available for 3 days unless sold out before that (which is a regular occurrence).

One of the coolest things about Vinomofo is their secret deals — great wines at a great price, the identity of the wine and the producer is kept secret to protect the wine producer's retail price of the wines.

While most of their deals are limited, they also co-produce their own branded wines labelled Kinda Independent Wine Company that aren’t available anywhere else. These are always in stock and are the ones you’ll get to try! You can find them all here.

They also sell them as a mixed 6 pack (or dozen) called their "Collaboration Case" - which was the case we had the opportunity to try. We absolutely loved each wine.

An absolute stand out from the "Collaboration Case"was The Art of War.  A wonderfully full-bodied Barossa Shiraz, the wine is intense and complex with a bold plummy fruitiness.

Another favourite was the bottle, cheekily titled "Old Money". A steal at $15, this Coonawarra Cabernet is a classic featuring luscious ripe vibrant mulberry and blueberry notes.

While they do offer the bang for your buck delicious wines, the reason Vinomofo stands out from the crowd is that it delivers wine in an approachable manner - where it really is about drinking something amazing and definitely not just for the wine snobs!
