Hawker Hall is celebrating Chinese New Year weekend yum cha sessions. From 11am to 4pm every Saturday and Sunday in February, diners can feast six courses for $38 per person.
Choose six dishes from the many dim sum items on offer including barbecue pork buns, xo fried rice, fried squid, mapo tofu and (our favourite) chicken and garlic chive pearly dumplings.
To accompany the delightful dim sum is a selection of four Chinese New Year themed cocktails at $12 each. The Big Trouble In Little China is our top pick – a heady mixture of Suntory Kakubin whisky, cinnamon, ginger, citrus and soda.
