Just minutes from Westfield Doncaster, the newly revamped Cherry Hill Hotel is once again welcoming locals through its doors—this time, with a sleek new look and an elevated food and beverage offering to match. Following a $1.7 million renovation led by BSPN Architects, the iconic Doncaster East venue has been reimagined with modern millennial families, young tradies, and professionals in mind.

Boasting sweeping views of the rolling Warrandyte hills from its open-air terrace, the new Cherry Hill Hotel is more than just a local pub—it’s a contemporary dining and social hub that blends timeless design with a welcoming, community-driven atmosphere.

Inside, guests will notice a seamless integration of the bistro and sports bar into a single open-plan food and beverage zone, enhancing the communal feel while offering plenty of flexibility. The previously separate gaming room has been cleverly relocated within the sports bar, and external façade works—slated for completion by late June—will soon ensure the venue’s exterior reflects its refreshed interior style.

At the heart of the relaunch is the food. Executive Chef Jayson Aguilar brings over a decade of international culinary experience to the kitchen, delivering a menu that balances elevated pub fare with seasonal favourites. Expect comforting classics done well—think perfectly cooked steaks, slow-braised meats, and fresh pastas—alongside chef-driven specials that offer a refined twist.

Whether you're settling in for an intimate meal or catching up with a group, the Cherry Hill Hotel has the space to accommodate. The bistro comfortably seats 200, while the sports bar caters for up to 140 guests. The bistro operates Sunday to Thursday for lunch and dinner, with extended all-day dining on Fridays and Saturdays. Meanwhile, the sports bar opens daily from 11am until late.
