The brainchild of Raman and Ridhi, Delhicious brings together the best flavours of Indian cuisine in a new and exciting way. The menu is easy on the hip pocket and has something for everyone. While there are certainly options for those that prefer to stay within their comfort zone, the real must-tries on the menu are the Indian dishes which are fresh, redolent in spice, flavour and texture. Everything we tried was freshly cooked with love and care and fiercely flavoursome. Expect every element to be made in-house - From the smoked and ground spices, freshly made chutneys to the delicate naan breads.
Our top picks include the Delhicious dip platter (a great starter) which comprises of freshly baked gf naan bread served with mint, coriander chutney and yoghurt. The naan is a bit of a stunner – delicately thin with a beautiful crispness. For mains the tandoori is a must have. We loved both the chicken and the lamb which were each wonderfully tender and full of flavour courtesy of being marinated for many hours in an authentic blend of spices.
For something a little left of centre (and simply moreish), the gnocchi will have you fighting over the last morsel. Our favourite dish from the menu, think pillow soft gnocchi coated in Delhicious’ aromatic butter chicken sauce. Just yum!
Dessert time showcases the kitchen’s versatility. Whatever you do, do not go past the sticky date pudding. You can thank us later.
