This December, the restaurant’s much-loved buffet is dialled up for the holidays, transforming into a Grand Festive Feast designed for long lunches, celebratory dinners and end-of-year gatherings of every kind.

Available from 4 December 2025, the festive buffets showcase Collins Kitchen’s signature strength: generous variety, high-quality produce and live cooking stations that keep the experience lively and interactive. Whether you’re visiting with family, friends or colleagues, this is a buffet that encourages you to explore, return for seconds and linger a little longer.

Seafood lovers will want to make a beeline for the seafood on ice, where platters are piled high with blue swimmer crabs, Queensland prawns, Moreton Bay bugs and freshly shucked oysters. Served with classic accompaniments like lemon, mignonette and cocktail sauce, it’s a refreshing way to start – or continue – the feast. Nearby, the Japanese bar offers a refined counterpoint, with an elegant selection of maki rolls, nigiri and sashimi featuring yellowfin tuna, salmon and kingfish, alongside soy, wasabi, pickled ginger and vibrant salads.

For those who favour lighter plates, the salad bar delivers far more than an afterthought. Expect chef-driven daily selections, a made-to-order station, and composed salads such as Greek-style combinations with feta and oregano, or hearty wild rice tossed with lentils, sweet potato, pomegranate and Yarra Valley feta. The delicatessen section is equally tempting, laden with premium cured meats, terrines, pâté, anchovies, dips, marinated vegetables and artisan breads – ideal for grazing between hot courses.

The heart of the festive offering lies in the live stations. A traditional carvery anchors the celebration with turkey breast and chestnut, apple and sage stuffing, alongside Christmas ham finished with a glossy honey glaze and served with all the expected sauces. At the grill, premium meats and seafood are cooked to order, from lamb rump and beef rump cap to free-range chicken and tandoori salmon, each paired with seasonal vegetables and flavour-packed dressings. The wood-fired oven adds another layer of comfort, turning out Italian porchetta and chef’s selection pizzas throughout the service, while a pasta station serves handmade pasta with sauces cooked fresh on the spot.

Finish on a high note at the dessert spread, where festive sweets, show-stopping centrepieces and a dark chocolate fountain ensure no one leaves without something sweet.

Festive Lunch Buffets run Thursday and Friday from 12:00pm to 2:30pm, while Festive Dinner Buffets are available Thursday to Saturday from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. Special Christmas Eve and Christmas Day buffets are also on offer and are booking fast.
