To start the prawn tortellini was delicious. Al dente sheets of pasta encased a tender prawn mince. Together with perfectly cooked calamari and served in a sea of squid ink butter sauce and garnished with a parmesan crisp, this was absolutely moreish.
For mains, do not go past the crispy skin barramundi fillet served with polenta chips, roasted cherry tomatoes, grilled vegetables, confit mushroom and salsa verde. This was a dish which allowed the subtle sweetness of the exceedingly fresh barramundi to shine.
Our visit concluded with 2 well-conceived desserts that exhibited flawless flavour combinations and textural diversity.
The Bake Lime Cheesecake was zesty and moreish - served with kiwi fruit curd, caramelized pineapple, sesame meringue, tuille biscuit, lemon sorbet while the Sticky date pudding was a wonderful rendition of a traditional dessert.
