Wind Chimes pleases locals with a menu that offers a modern twist on traditional brunch favourites.
As expected of any good Melbourne café, Wind Chimes serves up excellent coffee. They also offer a myriad of other exciting drinks including matcha and turmeric lattes.
We loved tasting our way through the menu.
For traditional brunch options, we recommend the vege delight which, as its name suggests, is a delightful plate of well cooked breakfast essentials.
For something a little different (and our favourite dish on the menu) Ritu’s slow cooked lamb is a cracker! Think fluffy basmati rice and naan served with luscious curry. The dish is honest, hearty and full of flavour.
On the salad front the Hippi Bowl is excellent. A wonderful amalgamation of white and red quinoa, baby capsicum, cauliflower & broccoli florets, spinach, coriander, Spanish onions, parsley, pomegranate, seeds, agave and lime juice dressing.delicious.
Inspired by Melbourne's gourmet brunch scene, Wind Chimes is a very welcomed addition to Doncaster's food scene.
