Opened since the 1800's, Grosvenor Hotel is an iconic location. The multi-faceted venue offers a bistro, drive-thru burger bar (STKBB), function areas and grocery and bottle store.
We enjoyed dining in their bistro - the perfect venue for relaxed dining. The expansive menu features pub classics and prides itself on a commitment to sourcing, ageing and preparing premium cuts of grass fed Victorian beef.
The pizzas at the Grosvenor are a highlight. The appeal of Grosvenor Hotel’s pizza lies in its beautiful crust and the use of quality produce. The Simone was a pizza containing gorgonzola, salami, radicchio, walnuts, truffled honey. The full-bodied porkiness of the Italian salami was delectable and made a worthy contribution to the pizza.
For mains, we recommend enjoying one of the Grosvenor’s steaks. The Grosvenor is committed to sourcing only the best premium grade meat from some of the country’s most reputable suppliers. Grosvenor’s Chef and his team have adopted a strict approach to sourcing, ageing and preparing their entire range of meats.
Over the last 40 years, they have forged close relationships with some of the country’s best farmers and livestock producers, hence are able to select meats from farms across Victoria, Tasmania and New South Wales. Grosvenor’s selection criterion looks at an animal’s breed, weight, feeding pattern, marbling, pH level, colour and ageing of the meat to ensure consistent high quality. Displaying a mastery in the manner the steak were cooked, our steaks were cooked perfectly from end to end. A light searing ensured that each steak was lined with a thin crisp layer packed with caramelised beef flavour.
