Set within the picturesque Stones vineyard in the Yarra Valley, The Stables is a lovely Yarra Valley restaurant. Originally an historic 19th century stablehand quarters, the space has been tastefully converted into a warm and welcoming dining room boasting high ceilings, red brick walls and aged timbers. We opted for the Sunday tapas lunch option at $55 per person. The dishes were fresh, modern, flavoursome and well executed and utilised fresh seasonal produce. However, given the tapas menu does not include dessert, we do question the value proposition and would order from the a la carte menu if we returned.
